Precious Banksia and Bees, Blue is a vibrant and celebratory artwork inspired by the beautiful Banksia flowers that bloom in the summer and early autumn in the Margaret River region. There are many varieties named after the explorer Sir Joseph Banks, who collected the first specimens in 1770 during his voyage with Captain Cook. They are a great source of food for the Bees.
